Blackpink might soon be in your area.
The K-Pop supergroup confirmed they will be heading out on a world tour, posting a video on Wednesday titled, “Blackpink 2025 World Tour Teaser.” The video shows the cheering crowds of Blackpink’s previous packed shows. The stadium is alight with the group’s signature pink lightstick.
Blackpink’s fans, known collectively as Blinks, flooded the posts on all social media with excitement over the group’s return. The quartet last embarked on a 22-country world tour from 2022 to 2023 in support of their last album, Born Pink. The group hit Los Angeles twice during the tour – in November 2022 during the initial U.S. leg at BMO Stadium and again in August 2023 for an encore show at Dodger Stadium.
The news comes alongside the increasingly fruitful solo careers for each of the Blackpink members. Jisoo, the group’s oldest member, recently joined Jennie, Lisa and Rosé in finding new labels as solo artists — Jisoo’s was a global deal with Warner Records. In December 2023, it was announced that Blackpink had renewed their exclusive contracts for group activities with YG Entertainment, however, it was later announced that all four members decided to part ways with the label for solo activities. Jennie signed with Columbia Records through a partnership with her record label and entertainment company Oddatelier; Lisa and her entertainment company LLOUD signed a partnership deal with RCA Records; Rosé signed a global solo deal with Atlantic Records.
All four members of the girl group are currently active as solo artists. Rosé released her debut album, Rosie, in December, with her lead single APT continuing to climb the Billboard Hot 100 – it currently sits at No. 3. Jennie is preparing to release her debut studio album, Ruby, and a first solo tour, The Ruby Experience, in March. Lisa is releasing her next single, “Born Again,” featuring Doja Cat and Raye on Feb. 6. She’s also starring in the upcoming third season of HBO’s hit series, The White Lotus, premiering on Feb. 16. Jisoo is slated to release her debut EP, Amortage, on Feb. 14. She’s also starring in a new K-Drama, Newtopia, premiering on Prime Video on Feb. 7.
Details on exact cities and dates have yet to be released. It has yet to be confirmed whether or not Blackpink will release a new album alongside the tour.
