Joe Rogan’s Fans Are All Saying the Same Thing About the Woody Harrelson JRE Episode

In an alternate universe, Joe Rogan would have said something like: “I think human consciousness was a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware. Nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist, by natural law.” And anyone who has tuned in to HBO’s highly acclaimed ‘True Detective’ series knows exactly what comes next. With a disgusted, flustered look, this dialogue has echoed in my ears. “I just want you to stop saying odd s–t like you smell a psycho’s fear or you’re in someone’s faded memory of a town. Just stop!”

Well, this didn’t exactly happen on the latest Joe Rogan Experience episode, but you get the idea, right? The podcaster welcomed Hollywood royalty, Woody Harrelson, for episode #2277 of JRE. ‘Detective Marty Hart’ is currently on a press tour to promote his upcoming film, ‘Last Breath’, set to release on February 28. It is a survival-thriller movie.

As expected, the JRE episode delivered an interesting conversation. After all, Rogan and Harrelson share plenty of common interests—psychedelics, alternative medicine, and regenerative farming, to name a few.

For over two and a half hours, the duo dived deep into these topics and much more, keeping listeners engaged with their fascinating conversation. Rogan, who clearly enjoying the discussion, later took to Instagram to express his appreciation: “It was an honor and a privilege to sit down and have a conversation with @woodyharrelson. What a friendly and cool guy. I really enjoyed it.”

But hey, it is a JRE episode with a famous actor. It is obvious that fans had a lot of talk about it.

Fans were quick to take to the comment section and share their opinions about the episode. Let’s just say they had some interesting thoughts.

Fans have hilarious reactions to Woody Harrelson’s Joe Rogan Experience episode!

‘Natural Born Killers’, ‘The People vs. Larry Flynt’, and ‘The Thin Red Line’ are some of Harrelson’s most famous movies. No wonder fans couldn’t help but reminisce about their favorite ones featuring the actor. One fan wrote:

  • “The think red line is one of the best war movies of all time.”

The movie, which was released in 1998, was based on James Jones’ autobiographical 1962 novel. It portrayed the conflict at Guadalcanal during the second World War. But another fan wrote:

  • “Everytime I see this guy I think of Twinkies.”

Well, it could be a reference to his role in ‘Zombieland’. In the 2009 horror-comedy, the actor’s character ‘Tallahassee’ would constantly search for Twinkies to eat. In fact, at one point he even said, “Someday very soon, life’s little Twinkie gauge is going to go empty.”

He would spend most of his time finding a box of the snack, which could give him a momentary sugar rush when the rest of the world had turned into zombies. Similarly, another fan wrote:

  • “Just watched no country for old men again, small part but he does very well in every movie he’s in to me.”
  • “If I was Joe I would just talk about no country for old men for the whole interview.”

The movie which was released in 2007 follows the violence and chaos post a drug deal gone wrong. Clearly, most fans had one thing in common: They couldn’t help but mention his work in the industry. However, some fans had an interesting take as well. One of the biggest memes associated with Harrelson, of course, is his remarkable likeliness to ‘Breaking Bad’s Skyler White played by Anna Gunn. That is why one fan hilariously had a request for Joe Rogan.

  • “Would you invite him and Skylar from breaking bad so we make sure they’re not the same person?”
