OXFORD, MS – No. 6 South Carolina finished with a win in their final SEC road test of the season, defeating Ole Miss 75-59 to extend the Gamecocks’ win streak over the Rebels to 20.
South Carolina veterans Chloe Kitts and Sania Feagin led the way for the Gamecocks, each having a career night with 38 points between the two.
Notables
- Chloe Kitts had a career night, securing the program’s first triple-double since Aliyah Boston in 2021 (vs. Georgia, 1/21/21). She finished with 16 points, 13 boards and a career-high 10 assists for the first points/rebounds/assists triple-double for a Gamecock since 2006, and the first against an SEC opponent in program history. She also swiped four steals and blocked a shot.
- Sania Feagin stepped up to the plate, posting a new career-high 22 points on 10-for-13 shooting from the floor with 16 coming in the first half, the second-most for a Gamecock in a half this season. She added five blocks as well.
- Joyce Edwards ended with 10 points for her fifth consecutive game in double-figures, throwing down eight of them in just as many minutes in the final quarter.
- MiLayisa Fulwiley got hot in the second half, scoring seven of her nine points and hitting a 3 in the third quarter to keep the Gamecocks on top by double-digits.
- The Gamecocks assisted on 20 of 29 field goals, sharing the ball well throughout the night.
- South Carolina beat Ole Miss at its own game, swiping 10 steals to the Rebels’ six.
