Premier League LIVE: Arsenal denied win by stubborn Man United, Liverpool need 16 points from remaining games to win title, Chelsea into top four

‘There just wasn’t enough’

Arsenal goalscorer Declan Rice has been speaking to the press after his side drew 1-1 with Manchester United.

The England international scored an equaliser in the second half as the Gunners lost more points.

When asked about the game by Sky Sports, he said: “In the first half, we had some beautiful bits of play, but we didn’t have that cutting edge.

“In the second half, we were very naive. But to get back into the game and score meant we got a point, and it was probably a fair result.

“We scored seven in midweek, and we tried to do the same today, but Man United sat in a low block and defended well.

“Sometimes, it takes a full 90 minutes to break down that low block, but there just wasn’t enough creativity in our side today.”

And on the title race and the gap to Liverpool, he said: “We’ll keep going and giving everything we’ve got until the end of the season.

“Liverpool have been amazing all year, but it’s not over yet. We need to keep pushing, and we still believe in ourselves.”
